I can love you like that

I love music, and not as a pass time but love the way you can hear a song and it says everything that you feel inside. Like someone read your thoughts and wrote that song. I find that no matter what kind of mood your in there is almost always a song that will go with it and describes how your feeling.

I woke this morning and was thinking of my boyfriend and felt so very lucky to have him in my life. Of course I think of him everyday but today it felt so strong and real for some reason. Just to realize that I actually found a man who fits every description I ever had of the man I wanted to be with. And the wonderful part is that he isnt perfect and that is what lets me know that hes real. No matter what happens he is always kind and understanding. And I love the way he is optimistic and encouraging. He is everything I ever wanted and I feel incredibly lucky to have met him.

So I spent most of the day listening to my love songs play list because it made me happy to just feel like I finally know what love feels like. And my all time favorite song came on. I have loved this song since the very first time I heard it many years ago and although some amazing love songs have been sang before and after it for some reason this one always reminded me that there were good men out there who wanted to be happy as much as I did. So its still my favorite song and will probably always be.
